Tire alignment is important – for your safety and for the livelihood of your car. If your tires are not properly aligned, your vehicle can drift unsafely into traffic or there can be damage to the suspension, axle, wheels and tires of your car.
A common myth, however, is that if your car drifts either left or right, that you need an alignment. This is not true! If your car veers slightly to the right – that’s because it was designed to do so by the factory!
BUT, if your car veers to the left or if there’s noticeable wear on the inside or outside of one specific tire, these are signs of a problem and should be checked out by a professional.
